Building an Export Workflow from Zero for a Fertilizer Manufacturer

From market selection, multilingual websites and Meta acquisition to WhatsApp qualification and internal coordination of product data, documents, logistics and quotations.

The starting point was not “build a website”

The manufacturer had products and production capacity but no systematic export operation. The missing piece was not a page. It was a connected path from market selection and content to acquisition and internal follow-up.

I used customs data and public information to narrow the market, then evaluated countries, buyer types and product applications before deciding what the website should say.

Connecting acquisition to conversation

After the direction was clearer, I built multilingual web pages, ran Meta acquisition and connected enquiries to WhatsApp. A buyer moving from an advertisement to the site and then to a message should see the same product and the same commercial story.

When someone asks for a price, I do not immediately send a catalogue. I first clarify:

Those questions make the next commercial step more specific.

Export work does not end in the chat window

Buyer questions often expose internal gaps. Someone must confirm the product parameters, provide technical documents, check logistics and prepare quotation inputs.

I handled the external conversation and carried those gaps back into the company for follow-up. A website that creates enquiries without an internal response path simply moves the bottleneck.

Current operating state

The website, acquisition, enquiry handling and internal follow-up now use one operating approach. Different real enquiries progressed into product matching, sample requests, document or solution delivery, and quotation discussions.

This case does not convert advertising conversations, traffic or customs records into orders. Those events show activity at specific stages; they do not prove payment, shipment or repeat business.

My role

I worked across market and content decisions, buyer conversations, and the internal coordination of product data, documents, logistics and quotations. The work combined business understanding, sales judgment, communication and technical delivery.

If your manufacturing company has products but no connected export path, start with a focused review or read the website delivery workflow.
